Club History
Lynwood Ferndale Football Club inc. was formed in 1990 with the amalgamation of the Lynwood Ferndale Amateur Football Club and the Lynwood Ferndale Junior Football Club.
Lynwood Ferndale Junior Football Club commenced in 1970 with three teams, 10's, 12's and 14's in the East Fremantle Junior Football Club competition. It's home ground was Woodford Oval where it remained until 1978 when it moved to Ferndale Oval.
Lynwood Ferndale Amateur Football Club commenced in 1979 at Ferndale Oval, with one team in J Grade in WAAFL. A reserves team was introduced in 1981 and colts in 1984.
1987 saw the building and opening of the clubrooms at Ferndale Oval by the LFFC. In 1997 extensions were made to the building.
